Wetmen / Wetgals are located in Dribble Fountain (the male variant can be found encased in ice in Twinkle Palace). The female versions drip down from the ceiling and charge for Shantae, then rise back to the ceiling, and attack from there as well. Males stay right-side-up at all times, and will block your attacks sometimes. When they are about to charge, they get in a fighting stance, which is the best time to whip them. They occasionally jump forward to change position. In The Pirate's Curse, only the males, which have 80 HP, appear. Wetmen would be seen by themselves again in Half-Genie Hero, until Seven Sirens, where female wetmen return under the name "wetgals". Wetmen also have a more dangerous, red variant.

Appearence[]

While both have a male and female form, each has their own uniqueness of attacks, Their idle animation differ each other while one is involve with massive strength while the other has quickness in agility.

Behaviour[]

Shantae[]

Shantae and the Pirate's Curse[]

Shantae: Half-Hero Hero[]

  • Wetmen will click their claws together before dashing at the player. They can block both high and low attacks - the best strategy is to alternate in the hope of catching them off guard.

Shantae and the Seven Sirens[]

  • Wetmen behave the same way as in Half-Genie Hero. Their Monster Card negates damage from falling into pits.
  • Wetgals will turn into puddles and alternate between sliding along the ceiling and the floor. Their Monster Card increases the odds of magic drops.
